While we cannot guarantee that such incidents will never occur, we take all reasonable measures to prevent them.
Storage of Personal Data at Waliya
When you create an account with Waliya, your personal profile data (such as your birth date,
username, etc.) is stored separately from your cycle data. This is to provide additional protection
for your health data. Waliya uses servers within the European Union for processing and storing your
data.
Your password is secured upon creation using a one-way encryption process that employs both
"hashing" and "salting" techniques. This transforms your password into an unreadable form, to which
even Waliya staff do not have access. Your password is thus highly protected. Note that Waliya does
not receive your original password if you sign in using Apple, Facebook, or Google.
When transmitting your data between your device and our servers, we use Hypertext Transfer Protocol
Secure (HTTPS). This is a type of encrypted data transmission where the sent information is made
unreadable. This enhances the security of data transmission. HTTPS is the same technology used to
establish secure connections in your web browser, indicated by a padlock symbol in the browser.
If you subscribe to Waliya Premium, all your payment information is securely processed by the Apple
App Store or Google Play Store. Waliya does not store your payment data at any time.
6. Your Data Protection Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, object to, and transfer your data. You can exercise these rights at any time. Simply contact us at info(at)waliya.app. You can also delete your data directly in the app. The deletion of your data will be immediate and irreversible.
7. Changes
We reserve the right to revise the content of this Privacy Policy at any time. This generally occurs when legal or regulatory requirements change or when we develop or adjust our services.
